Other Dogs: Bosey, an English Setter

Other Dogs: Bosey

This is Young Miss Bosey ("Bose the Nose") Roe, who visited us last July (1999) with her humans, Ron Roe and Anita, travelling all the way from Lavenham, in Suffolk.

Her name is derived from the Bosahan Estate which is on the cliffs near St. Anthony, a headland between the Helford River and Gillan Creek on the eastern side of The Lizard peninsular in Cornwall. Ron and Anita's previous setter was called Morvah, from the North Cornish Coast village of that name.

Bosey's Kennel Club name is 'Cute and Crafty' and she was born in October 1997 at Clapham in Bedfordshire. She is an English Setter and her colour is Orange Belton.

English Setter fans might also like to visit Keith Smith's English Setters and Field Spaniels site.

“Stop laughing - it's not funny! A girl just appreciates a little privacy after taking a bath!”

Here's Miss Roe again, at Rodbridge, Suffolk, having been in the water, paddling. October 1999.
