Brill, All Saints Church


Our lunch was arranged at Brill's local, The Pheasant. Sited with extensive views from its hill top position it is alongside the neighbouring late 17th century windmill, itself an astonishing survival. In comparison there was mixed enthusiasm for our post-lunch visit to All Saints church, which is very cute outside but rather dull inside, thanks to a Victorian rebuilding of nave and aisles out of scale with the tower.
