Long Crendon, St Mary's Church


St Mary's basked in the morning sun and sang forth from its central tower as the bell ringers were ringing the changes from the moment we arrived until we pulled away. What a welcome! Bizarrely the church has three porches, two disused (N and the rarely-found W porch), odd given the nave and aisles are only two bays long.
