St Mary's Church, Turville

Turville, St Mary's Church

St Mary's will be instantly recognisable to fans of BBC1 TV's Vicar of Dibley series, for here is 'Dibley' church, minus a Teletubby or two! With a white Gothic gazebo on the hill to the south and a windmill of the summit of the hill to the north, this is another charming mish-mash church. A Norman doorway now shelters a glazed tympanum, our second John Piper window of the afternooon.
[Ed: the other one is at St Mary's Church, Fawley]
