St Mary's Church (Myssenden Brass), Whaddon
Also fun, by the south doorway is a rustic inscription slab with the kneeling brass of 1612 to Margaret Myssenden, beside which is a small separate brass panel of a skeleton, one of only 8 in England. This is ignored by Buildings of England in both of its editions - shameful! (Commentary provided by Phil Draper) |
