Ashford in the Water, Cottage by Sheep Wash Bridge


This house at one end of the Sheep Wash Bridge over the River Wye at Ashford in the Water, is where Eva NEEDHAM, Moyra Burnett (the submitter's) grandmother, was born on 1st July 1866. Eva's father Jonathan NEEDHAM was also born here in 1821.

NOTE: Holy Trinity Church is almost directly opposite this cottage. The road over the Sheep Wash Bridge can be seen disappearing to the right.
