In / Loving Memory of
Francis NELSON,
died October 20th 1913 / aged 71 years
"At Rest"
Also of Elizabeth / wife of the above
who died February 5th 1916,
in her 79th year
(on another side)
Their eldest son Joseph Champion
died 20th February 1908 aged 39 years

Francis NELSON was the son of Horatio NELSON the Bakewell Pork Butcher. This grave is in Bakewell Municipal Cemetery, close to the grave of Francis's parents Horatio and Sarah NELSON, and on the same side of the path before the centre chapel.
