Barlow, View from Churchyard


This view from Barlow Churchard is looking towards the East. It is a very cold and windswept area in winter, but this photograph, taken in April 1999, shows a field of brilliant yellow rape-seed in the distance indicating spring is well advanced, even this far north(!) and summer is on the way.

No, one can't see what's written on that gravestone - the inscription is on the other side!
