Eyam, Another Tomb (Churchyard)


Apart from the more usual symbol of mortality and its use on packaging indicating some harmful substance, the Skull and Crossbones image seen on the side of this Tomb is also associated with Freemasonry, and the Knights Templar. See also Alternative Religions - Skull and Crossbones.

It is not known what the carvings on the face of the Tomb represent. See also another photograph of a Rear View of this Tomb, where more carvings are shown.
