Pictures of the Past : Daniel Willis, Eyam
Daniel WILLIS (1838-1909) was Bob Munson, the submitter's wife's great-great grandfather, and father of Anne, who later married Isaac RIDGEWAY. Daniel was obviously musically inclined; he was said to have had a fine voice, and was the village Choir master, so perhaps this photograph is taken at one of the Choir's musical performances! This is one of several wonderful old postcards and photographs belonging to Bob Munson and his wife Doreen, and relating to the Ridgeways of Eyam. |
