The road sign on the left points to ‘Wardlow’ and ‘Middleton’ (ie Stoney Middleton), adjacent to which is the group of cottages shown on the photo of The Fold. The road ahead of us goes onwards to Great Hucklow and Tideswell, and on our right is The Bull's Head Inn.
