Sir William Hill Road (2), Grindleford
This photograph is taken at the junction of Sir William Hill Road with the minor road (on the right) which goes via Bretton to Great Hucklow, and looking towards Eyam. The chimney on the horizon is of the Ladywash Mine. The photograph is taken late in the afternoon in August - for contrast see also Sir William Hill Road in winter, looking back in the other direction towards Grindleford. |
