Grindleford, The Station c.1893


The beginnings of Grindleford Station circa 1893. Although it looks more like a bomb site than a station, they are busy constructing the station! The Hope Valley Line was opened for through traffic in 1893, so it is possible the photo was taken earlier, although the Station itself didn't open until 1898.
