Old Postcard of View in Haywood, Grindleford
I think this must be a view towards Grindleford walking along the path from the Froggatt end. Thus the river is on the left. The reverse of the card has no message. It is one of an ‘Artistic Series’, was printed by the A.P. Co., 9 Bury Court, St Mary Axe, London E.C. No. 2721; and said to be ‘Chromotyped in Saxony’. (Commentary provided by Rosemary Lockie) |
