Village Green (2001), Grindleford
Compare this with an earlier black & white view of the Village Green, taken around 1950 before the cottage facing us on the right had been partially demolished for road widening. The sign for the Sir William Hotel is also a bit fancier! (Commentary provided by Rosemary Lockie) |
