The following MIs were kindly contributed by Christopher Bennett, 22nd June 2006. Entries supply name, date of death, and age. Abbreviations: w=wife; h=husband; s=son; d=daughter; &c. A1. John BARBER, born April 6 1817 / died April 8 1893 wife Mary* BARBER, born 12 May 1825 / died 18 January 1907 [Submitter's Note: Mary's maiden name was NAYLOR and she was born at Sheldon, Derbyshire] A2. Samuel BARBER of Higham, died March 8 1898 / aged 51 years. wife Caroline* BARBER, died 14 February 1934 /aged 84 years. [Submitter's Note: Caroline's maiden name was NAYLOR and she was born in 1850 at Bakewell, Derbyshire. Mary BARBER (above) was her aunt and she married Mary's stepson Samuel BARBER] A3. Sarah Ann HILL, daughter of John & Mary BARBER, born October 3 1862 / died 4 May 1906 A4. Cross memorial stone Samuel BARBER, son of John William & Sylvia BARBER, born August 14 1901, Accidentally drowned at Skegness, 13 August 1915 A5. William BAGGALEY / died 17 March 1828 daughter Jane died September 9 1829 and Ann (daughter) died November 1846 [no day actually recorded] / aged 24 years
