"This church was rebuilt and enlarged, in the year 1847, by which means
Has been made capable of accommodating 203 persons. A grant of £100, in
aid of its erection, was made by the Incorporated Society for promoting the
enlargement of buildings and repairing churches and chapels (on) condition that
the seats for 161 persons described on the annex plan should be set apart and
be declared to be free and appropriated for ever. The provision of Church Room
previously to rebuilding was for 121 persons including 21 free seats."
