Bishops Frome, The Way out to Bromyard


I simply had to stop and take a photograph whilst passing this building, because it looked to me as though it was once a Non-Conformist Chapel. At first I couldn't find evidence of this, but I've now discovered it's listed in Herefordshire's ‘Sites and Monuments Record’ - Post Medieval Chapels in Herefordshire - as formerly a Methodist Chapel, with a suggestion it was built after 1886. Please note however that it is now a private house.

The road is the B4214 which passes through Mundersfield on its way to Bromyard. It is steeper than it looks!
