Palace Gatehouse, Bosbury
This blocked archway was the entrance to the former Gatehouse of the Bishops Palace, and dating from the late 13th century. Next to it is a hop kiln, and beyond it the entrance to Court Farm, where the Palace itself used to be. (Commentary provided by Rosemary Lockie) |
