St Catherine's Church (The Altar), Hoarwithy
The four pillars supporting the domed ceiling are of French and Cornish marble, resting on a solid base of green marble. The altar is white marble inlaid with Lapis Lazuli. Its central cross is of Tiger-Eye. (Commentary provided by Rosemary Lockie) |
