Inside Barony Church, Glasgow
Barony is no longer a Church but used by the University of Strathclyde, where here it is in preparation for an exam. I am afraid if I were a student I couldn't concentrate in such a setting - it is awesome! Burnes and Campbell have produced a design Pearson would have been proud of, which was the product of a competition judged by.............. John Loughborough Pearson.............. really clever of them! A photograph of the exterior of Barony Church (with further commentary) is also available. (Commentary provided by Phil Draper) |
