Lansdowne Parish Church, Glasgow

Glasgow, Lansdowne Parish Church

Lansdowne Parish Church, designed by by John Honeyman in 1862-3 is Early English Gothic with the thinnest tower and absurdly tall spire. Closer examination reveals some quite intricate and thoughtful decoration but sadly it was locked.

The Church is immediately outside the underground station on the Great West Road, and a short distance from St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral.
