St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral, Glasgow

Glasgow, St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral

Glasgow Cathedral of St Mary has been Episcopalean since 1907. Built by Scott 1873-4, who produced a rehash of successful features built elsewhere, the nave and west end are like St Mary Abbots in London, the clerestory as at Sherbourne in Gloucestershire. The spire is later, a massive structure by John Oldrid Scott.

A photograph of the interior of St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral (with further commentary) is also available.
