Inside St George's Church, Evenley
A dark and gloomy interior was a disappointment after a promising exterior. Skied in the tower is the surviving standing figure of the be-wigged Sir Creswell Levinz d.1700, part of a presumably once-larger memorial. (Commentary provided by Phil Draper) |
