Inside St Peter's Church, Brampton
Long aisleless nave and chancel, the latter distinguished internally by a drop in ceiling height and a wooden screen. The church appears to be mainly 15th century but the east window is of c1300. Perpendicular font of standard design. So there it is - without the road, perhaps, the church merits few words. But a picture is worth how many words, eh? (Commentary provided by Phil Draper) |
