Brundish, St Lawrence's Church


I got a little frustrated in the churchyard - the “back to nature wildlife reserve” being so close to the walls of the church means a good photo is only obtainable if you are prepared to trample down five-feet-high stinging nettles and other vegetation amongst the graves, and with a short sleeved shirt on I was not feeling that brave - they get you back in my experience... The tower is early Norman, sheer and unbuttressed with a later top stage. The south porch is embellished with flushwork (I comment on it still as it is new for me!).
