St Andrew's Church (Ruins), Covehithe

Covehithe, St Andrew's Church (Ruins)

Covehithe resembles Blythburgh, as here again is a tall but rather gaunt plain west tower, without the fun decoration of Walberswick, with which it shares a similar history. Covehithe-as-was must have been an impressive sight, and more of the ruins survive here than at Walberswick and a visit to them is repaid by the detailing and survival of features inside as well as outside.
