Inside St Mary's Church, Dennington
I'd arrived at this church rather late, but I enjoyed it so much that I returned the following morning - to see what tourists come here to see and I had missed - the sciapod benchend (man shading himself from the sun with his huge foot). Indeed a group of 4 came in just to see that, and turned around and went again - did they not take in the rest of this marvellous church?! Even so, and although it appears in my pictures, I still missed the significance of the 15th century hanging pyx over the altar until later, on reading the Buildings of England entry.
