Stoven, Inside St Margaret's Church

I suspect this may be a church which is open 24/7 because it has really nothing inside worth taking - even the south door was open when the main entrance is from the north. The south doorway is in fact original Norman and certainly was the cause of this rebuilding..... or was it simply “Emperer's New Clothes” - as the thing which saved Stoven from demolition was the discovery that underneath this Victorian recladding were original 12th century walls. I loved the little font in a 13th century style.
