Inside Holy Trinity Church (from N Transept), Blackford (Wedmore)
Openwork west porch opens directly into the church. Above it an organ gallery, the only survivor of three. Box pews have been removed and replaced with more traditional pews. Transeptal projections to the north and south make the church wider than it is long. Opposite the entrance is a post war chancel (not mentioned by the Master) - which looks similar to the work of Bristol architect P Hartland-Thomas - and completely out of character with the rest (as it is externally, the only bit where the plain parapet which unites the rest is not carried around).
