St Michael & All Angels Church, Buckland Dinham
Impressive Perpendicular west tower, the rest 12-13th century much altered. Norman south doorway, partly blocked and with new 16th century door and sheltered by a fan-vaulted porch. Odd goblet font with part beaded part embattled frieze of decoration. Small 13th century chapel east of the porch - opposite a deep 14th century north transept. (Commentary provided by Phil Draper) |
