St Peter's Church, Camerton

Camerton, St Peter's Church

A heavily restored medieval church, with a 19th century chancel and south side (aisle, vestries), the latter cleverly extended in 2000 to provide a toilet which externally has an embattled parapet and is lit by a two light Perpendicular window. The church is sort-of built into the hillside and is raised over the grounds of the Court to the north. An oddly placed lychgate forces you to turn towards the north side where the main entrance is.
