St Thomas à Becket's Church, Lovington

Lovington, St Thomas à Becket's Church

Lovington is actually three areas of habitation, one by the delightfully picturesque mill on the River Brue, another by the main road and school, and the third with the church, is 'amputated' from the rest by the railway embankment.

Another short description in Pevsner, especially of the building. Tall 13th century west tower with large diagonal buttresses and a bulky stair turret rising to the height of the aisle (and probably 19th century like the aisle).
