St George's Church, Crowhurst
In some ways resembles Tandridge with a similar west end, although here the tower is supported differently sitting partly on the west wall of the nave, and partly on a cross half timbered upper wall to the east inside. The church is in principle also medieval, the porch and south aisle (single bay) treated as a single unit outside. (Commentary provided by Phil Draper) |
