due to the condition it is unreadable. Also there is this
part inscription again damaged by time & weather:

John BAKEWEL of Kingstone 6 Oct **, 74 Auth: where the year should have been it has been
removed many moons ago by some person with a chisel
as there is a very large gouge about a foot long

20 Jan 1735, or 1835, 82 [Auth: This stone many years ago (maybe at
the time it was erected) has been damaged by a
person with a chisel or something similar tool.
The year has been gouged out and a very large
"7" has been inscribed beside what looks like an
"8" in 18**. There is also a "3" and a "5". I took
a guess at the century, so it could be 17** or 18**,
and we may never know its original value]
