St Andrew's Church, Bemerton

Bemerton in is connected with George Herbert, a poet of the early 17th century, who was vicar here before his death in 1633 at the age of 40.

I am not sure if he would recognise St Andrew's Church today, a small medieval chapel restored inside to the point of disinterest by the Victorians. It is picturesque outside with a tiny south porch almost on the street.
