Bremhill, Inside St Martin's Church


The arcades are Transitional again but so reworked as to appear Victorian, unlike the responds of the chancel arch which are impressive. The font too looks ‘done over’ but is apparently Norman, the bowl covered with a sort of fish-scale pattern. There are some entertaining bench ends and a large painted Royal Arms, of unknown date.
