Inside St George's Church, Orcheston
Inside it has a fine panelled arch. The vestry is kept locked and therefore it is difficult to see the Norman north doorway which it hides, apart from glimpses through the vestry windows. Pretty fittings in the chancel, probably of c1833. The church also has some very high quality stained glass - in particular, the East Window. (Commentary provided by Phil Draper) |
